Yajaira (19), a young Embera woman, travels with her daughter María (5) on a long journey by land and water. They leave Colombia's capital city behind and head towards the remote Andágueda River deep in the Colombian Pacific jungles. Yajaira seeks a return to her childhood home, hoping it will bring peace from the nightmares that torment her. Jhon (18), a white man affiliated with one of downtown Bogotá's most dangerous gangs, also joins the journey. He's running away from his terrifying life in the city. As they travel, both Yajaira and Jhon will be forced to confront their own realities. Only the vast wisdom of the jungle will decide their fate: will they continue together, searching for the inner peace they each crave, or will they be led down separate paths?
