Efraín Gómez is a clown who has lost his charm; children no longer enjoy his presence. One ordinary day, he wakes up to go to work but realizes his life is falling apart: His relationship with his wife is strained, and at work, his boss decides to fire him because he hasn't elicited any laughs at recent parties. After being dismissed, he sits on a park bench, contemplating his future, when unexpectedly two hitmen abduct him... Could his life become any more wretched?
